Supporting Alabama’s Public Education Employees

Every day, Alabama’s public education employees dedicate themselves to educating, supporting, and protecting our students. While serving our schools, workplace injuries can happen, creating unexpected physical, emotional, and financial challenges.

Established under the MaryAnn Leonard Educators’ On-The-Job Injury Act, the Public Education Employee Injury Compensation Program (PEEICP) provides eligible public education employees with access to injury compensation benefits through their participating school system. PEEICP helps injured employees receive the medical care, guidance, and support they need throughout the recovery process. Through experienced claims management, 24/7 Nurse Triage, coordinated medical care, and responsive customer service, PEEICP is committed to helping Alabama’s educators and school employees recover and return to serving the students and communities who depend on them.
